Mi-17 - Transport helicopter variant comparison
This walkaround introduces three variants of Mi-17 helicopter family. The original Mi-17 (Czech and Slovakian AF helicopter), Mi-17V-5 latest Kazan model (Russian AF and manufacturer) and lates Ulan Ude Mi-171 helicopter (Czech and Russian AF). Every line with photos includes picture of the same part of the helicopter from Mi-17, Mi-17V-5 and Mi-171, so you can easily compare them and recognize real helicopters. Do not be confused - the stepped nose and rear hydraulic ramp are optional items and Mi-17V-5 and Mi-171 can fly without them (with original glazed nose and clamshell doors). What is common for all three variants is only on one picture (power system, undercarriage).
