This walkaround introduces the Mi-14 naval amphibian helicopter for antisubmarine warfare and rescue purposes. Originaly it was developed from the Mi-8, but in the test phase designers installed more powerful engines TV3-117 with a new gearbox VR-14 and AI-9V APU, which significantly increased the helicopter performance. Later on this engine set was also introduced on Mi-8MT prototype, which later became known as Mi-17.
